I was just trying to clean my gold necklace. Am I watching the wrong video?????
**Right now I'm making my AR 300 blackout cycle with only 8.0 grains of powder and 150 grain bullets with pretty quiet results!!! you just have to know your guns, powders and bullets !!! and I only been doing this for about 2 to 3 weeks Max and i already pretty much seen it all and these guys that have been doing it for years I noticed that they only work with 190, 200, 220 Grn bullets and above and with pretty much the same results!!!🙄🙄
I thought 6.5 Creedmoor was Large Rifle Primer...
I would leave the purple shots alone they are used to shoot through steel and concrete have a Hilti nail gun and had to rebid it after about 200 shots
Where are the new videos? Love the channel
I'm just checking in to let you know i still rewatch your videos. I miss you, buddy. Hope to see you return again someday if you dont i still understand
So this is an old gun wit a new barrel, stock and trigger🤣🤣
Johnny, Boy great video except for number 10 flyer, I have been shooting the Superformace Varmint Hornady .50gr and getting 3970 FPS, an the groups are almost one hole @ 100yds, at 300yds I shot a .35 group. So fast and so accurate, do have a photo of the group @ 300. Do you have any idea of what H could be using in their boxes right off the shelf? 24" heavy barrel on a B-14 Bergara , sure like some input from you. This stuff is amazing, and your video was very use full about the H 380👍👍👍👍
lol there is obviously very little chance of getting your face blown off from using those little 22cal nail gun blanks in a Ruger 10-22
You are greatly missed my friend.
I tend towards the notion that something is going on with that scope. Those groups just do not make sense. Out of all the primer testing I’ve performed with both small and large primers in handguns and rifles I’ve never seen such dramatic differences in group sizes. I’ve never used br or 450 or s&b. I’ve only ever used Winchester-wlr, wsr, - federal-200,&205 - cci 200,&400. I’ve seen some cartridge/rifle combinations that definitely preferred certain primers but I’ve never seen more than an inch in group size from primer variance in a given load at 100 yards. Hmm? Did you ever get it sorted out?
Man, thank you so much for this video. I was just about to try the cream of wheat...😮 You save me a ton of hassle!
I got my first printer on Father’s Day of this year. The kobra 2 neo, worked right out of the box after assembly. I stare at it for long periods of time while it’s going. So satisfying to watch
Wow! I just Independently did some very similar testing of CFE-BLK and Shooters World Blackout, with very similar results. I started just under recommended start load for supers and worked backwards in .5 grain increments. With my suppressed 11.5" barrel I reached subsonic at 12.5 grains of CFE-BLK and functioned the action perfectly all the way down to 10.5 where I stopped. Accuracy was much better for me though. I was using 168 grain HPBT I purchased in (blem) bulk from Midsouth Shooters.
Good content sir thank you. I picked up 100ct .224 70gr RDF at Nosler today I will try these in a 16" RH 1:8 5 groove with a Wylde chamber. I spent some time with a Nosler tech regarding this bullet in a AR platform these should work well with 1.750" brass for a COAL of 2.255-2.260". I have Varget, IMR 8208, Accurate 2495 and H-4895 to try with these bullets. my RCBS and Hornady seating dies will work with this Ogive. I hope you get a chance to try Accurate 2495 with similar weight bullets, I like IMR 8208 but it is hard to find in my parts.
Im confused, you reloaded some M855A1 bullets but only shot the 62gr Hornady bullets? I thought you were testing the M855A1 bullets. The first set ejection were spitting the cases forward which means overgassing.
Cool.
I’ve been running the MA die followed by the 21st century Mandrel and didn’t know I had an internal donut in my cases until I got a Forester neck tension gauge!
Currently in 2024 I bought a bag of Starline Creedmoor brass for 46 bucks with my Cabelas 10% discount. Now my 300 Rum annealing is definitely worth it as a box of 20 Hornady brass is 70 bucks
King of stupid ideas. Dump some black powder down the barrel and send it. Hopefully the pressure will be enough to pop it. lol 😂
Hmh, I'm up at 2,769 fps with an 18" and 24.3gr of V540. And that's in 5.56 chamber.
Alright. You convinced me! I gotta get one.
I just discovered you're channel, great content to satisfy my autism 😅
Raise the die,it lowers the handle and allows the low compound leverage. Hold the die and use your body weight
Yep, you don't know how to make a quick video.
This is 2024 do you still have it? How had it performed? Good video.
Not to impressed
Nice selection powder
Using "math" to win an argument with your wife won't work. Imagine your wife trying to justify a great expense...because it is "cute." You'd be able to understand that... right.
😊
😊
I've had the same results with my resurrected ex-dragoon 1920/1928 (receiver/barrel) Was shooting 168gr .308 and was getting over 6" groups. Shot barnull 203 grain SP, and it was a 2" inch group.
😊
😊
Wrong powder. 55gn want N130. N133 is perfect for 69gn SMK bullets in a bolt action 223
Pressure signs in a shotgun are a black face and a banana barrel…there may be cartoon harp playing angels around your head. I’m just getting into reloading and I’m having all of the catch 22 questions that you raised in this video. I wonder if all the conflicting info and over complications are a result of the litigious society we live in. Thank God most things were invented a 100 years ago, because nothing would be invented under todays’ health and safety regulations…not to mention the extortionate insurance requirements. I think the best rule of thumb is to give the first 10 new loads to friends and family to shoot, and if they're okay, then carry on with loading for yourself. Excellent video! Cheers.
Ha, ha...Johnny, I'd swear that you and I are clones. Keep it up. I like watching myself, through you.
Your video's are the best, in my opinion I've learned so much and have watched for hours thank you 🤠
I have one and yes the die blocks suck. I have a full size die installed in the press for my 223 cases and I don't move/replace it so it works well. I have a Hornady Iron press for depriming & seating my cases. Overall I'm ok with two presses.
I found that Remington Lrp are very tight fitting whereas Winchester’s are very loose in a bunch of calibers
Yakity Yak yak yak. Wow boring
Have you loaded any of the 40gr VMax at 2.200? Looks like at 2.250 you're losing a lot of bearing surface with the neck.
Life a lot easier if you didn’t try to do 10 different hand loads and 10 different sausages. Just keep it simple.
Is this a good powder for a 14.5 inch barrel and 55 grain bullet?
Awesome work! I love your videos. Why haven't you done a video on the 6.8 spc II ?
